10K under pressure
Team Kennedy manager has done three 10K runs in the last 5 days and has been going round the house singing "30K in the bank baby"....so I had to eventually do something to escape the growing pressure cooker environment at home.
It was a 10K run to bring order to the chaos. A nice night but quite a strong wind from the East that was straight in my face the whole way out.
I was 25:20 for 5K to the top of the Hedgehog and a final finish in 52:15 which is a fair bit slower than my recent times but given I've not been off my lazy backside for nearly two weeks its not too bad.
I've spent the last two weeks thinking about my holidays and planning my fishing ...so running hasn't been at the top of my agenda...However The Manager has put her trainer down and I've at least got one eye on the running again...
